I like to define stress as the body and mind's reaction to something that threatens our physical and mental equilibriums. Although a small amount of stress can be beneficial and keeps us on our toes, too much or prolonged stress can be our greatest psychological trigger for physiological changes that occur in our body - and this can take years off your life.
